The Warren County Kennel Club was founded in 1975...

"Our Mission Statement"

To further the advancement of purebred dogs

To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs and to encourage
sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials; and

To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, and obedience trails under the rules of
The American Kennel Club (AKC).

WCKC furthers the advancement of purebred dogs in many ways including holding monthly meetings and
programs, offering obedience, conformation and puppy training classes, providing materials to libraries and
holding an AKC match and AKC all-breed show each year.

Other club activities also include a hayride, holiday party, and picnic.  WCKC members have an excellent
opportunity to network with other purebred dog owners, some of whom have been "in dogs" for decades,
others who are just starting.  Our membership is active in conformation, obedience and field events, and
includes a number of licensed AKC judges.

The Warren County Kennel Club has a breeder referral service, provides assistance to the Clover Canine
(4-H) Dog Club - Warren County, is a member of the Ohio Valley Dog Owner's Association, provides financial
and other support to dog-related organizations.

During July, the WCKC maintains a booth at the Warren County Fair.  We provide educational material and
literature on responsible dog ownership.  Club members staff the booth daily and answer questions.
